Ms. Stookey’s background in the life sciences and experiences in the legal field have equipped her to effectively address clients’ complex intellectual property issues.
Jessica Stookey is an associate in the New York office of Haug Partners, where she focuses on intellectual property litigation. Jessica graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law, where she served as Executive Editor for the Seton Hall Legislative Journal and was a member of Seton Hall’s Health Law Forum and Intellectual Property Law Association. She spent a semester as a student attorney in Seton Hall’s Health Justice Clinic where she helped clients prepare briefs to submit before the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims for their disability benefits cases. During law school Jessica also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Tonianne Bongiovanni, United States Magistrate Judge for the District of New Jersey.
Prior to attending law school Jessica attended Allegheny College where she earned a B.S. in biology. While at Allegheny she conducted research in the field of reproductive endocrinology and completed her senior thesis on the teratogenic effects of several pharmaceutical compounds.
